We are looking for an experienced full-time Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure our business runs smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to the success of a well-established company in the timber finishing industry.
The remuneration for this position is AU$75,000 - 85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
- Overseeing daily office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Planning and reviewing office services, establishing priorities, and implementing service standards to enhance operational efficiency.
- Allocating human resources, office space, and equipment to optimise business operations and support staff productivity.
- Assigning tasks to office personnel, monitoring work performance, and providing guidance to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
- Managing office records, financial accounts, and bookkeeping functions, including invoicing, payroll processing, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Liaising with external professionals, suppliers, and service providers to coordinate office operations and address business requirements.
- Scheduling and coordinating job assignments, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely service delivery.
- Managing office facilities, ensuring premises, equipment, and assets are properly maintained and meet operational and safety standards.
- Ensuring workplace compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, implementing policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant government legislation, policies, and industry regulations applicable to office operations.
- Overseeing personnel activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Administering payroll, leave management, and employee records in accordance with company policies and employment legislation.
- Handling customer enquiries, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring high-quality customer service standards.
- Developing and maintaining office documentation, procedures, and administrative systems to support business efficiency.
- Coordinating office meetings, managing diaries, and handling correspondence to facilitate smooth business operations.
- A qualification in Accounting, Business Studies, or a related field (certificate, diploma, or
degree).
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in office management or a related role, with demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external
stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
