About the role We're seeking a Rostering Officer to support the efficient and effective rostering of Traffic Control Room Operators (TCROs) across all markets. You'll join an innovative team, values operational excellence and collaboration. As our Rostering Officer, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging, and exciting work. 6-months fixed-term position Role can be based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations Day-to-day, you will: Create and maintain accurate rosters aligned with operational and training needsManage leave requests efficiently to maximise coverage and resource utilisationDevelop TCRO training plans with Training and Operational Leads based on compliance requirementsSchedule and track mandatory and cross-training activities to minimise operational disruptionsCommunicate roster changes and updates to TCROs and relevant stakeholdersProvide timely responses to inquiries regarding rosters and training schedulesSupport the preparation of workforce planning reports and maintain accurate data records for analysis and compliance purposes This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Previous experience in workforce planning/rosteringProactively identify and mitigate risks related to rostering, fatigue management and compliance with HSE policiesEffective problem-solving skills to adapt and manage scheduling changes and challengesAbility to establish priorities and work to strict timelines autonomouslyWell-developed interpersonal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft 365 and workforce management tools like Workday and/or Deputy If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
