Welder (First Class)

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $73,500 per annum. If you have the experience and qualifications, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Determine equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.

🔹 Safely complete pressure and general welding and testing as per company requirements.

🔹 Set up components for welding according to specifications.

🔹 Cable management system fabrication and installation for industrial and commercial sites.

🔹 Creating metal structures for electrical equipment by reading drawings, cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal pieces.

🔹 Material preparation – selecting appropriate metal stock, cleaning, and marking cutting lines according to design.

🔹 Cutting and shaping metal – using power tools like shears, saws, and plasma cutters, and shaping metal using bending machines or other forming methods.

🔹 Fabricate and TIG weld stainless steel cable management systems (SS conduits and SS cable trays) for refineries and food processing sites.

🔹 Making mounting brackets for electrical components.

Qualifications & Experience:

✅ Certificate III in Welding/Fabrication (Australian qualification required).

✅ Minimum 2 years of proven relevant experience.

✅ Trade-qualified 1st Class Welder.
