Web Designer

Due to operational need, we are in need for an experienced Web Designer to strengthen our current team. Note: must be available for face to face meeting in St Leonards, 2065, Sydney, New South Wales.

Task & responsibilities

• Consult with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to determine the objectives, target audience, and constraints of each web design brief.
• Undertake research and analysis to understand user behavior, communication goals, brand positioning, and digital engagement requirements.
• Formulate and present creative design concepts, wireframes, and mockups that meet both UX and UI standards.
• Design and develop responsive websites using platforms such as WordPress and/or Shopify, with attention to usability, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, content creators, marketers, and production staff to implement and test designs across web and mobile platforms.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot websites to ensure ongoing functionality and performance across different devices and browsers.
• Stay updated with current design trends, technologies, and web standards to apply innovative solutions.

Qualification & experience

·  At least AQF Bachelor Degree in web design or a related field.

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in designing or in a similar role.

·  Experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

·  Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with UI/UX best practices.

· Thorough understanding of web-based user experiences across all device types.

·  Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset.

·  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
