WALL AND FLOOR TILER

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing blueprints, taking measurements, marking surfaces, and planning the layout of tiles.
• Preparing wall and floor surfaces by stripping old tiles, grout, and adhesives, patching holes and cracks, and thoroughly cleaning the area.
• Applying waterproofing treatments where necessary to ensure durability and protection.
• Cutting and shaping tiles using specialized tools to fit around edges, corners, fixtures, and pipes.
• Mixing and spreading adhesives onto surfaces before carefully positioning tiles in place.
• Aligning and spacing tiles accurately to achieve a high-quality and professional finish.
• Filling joints with grout, cleaning tiles, and removing excess grout for a neat appearance.
• Installing floors made of terrazzo, granolithic, cement, or other similar materials.
• Designing and arranging colored tiles in decorative patterns to create mosaic effects.

Skills and experience requirements:

Minimum Cert III in relevant field

Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant field.

Physically fit.

Ability to work in confined spaces

Attention to detail.
