We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, in the heart of Kakadu National Park.

Task & responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient service to guests in all Food and Beverage venues of the hotel.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly to guests.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including tables and service areas.
- Follow hygienic food handling and hygiene practices.
- Operate within RSA and licensing guidelines at all times.
- Assist with the service at special functions and events.
- Support team members to ensure smooth day-to-day service
Qualification & experience
- At least 12 months’ experience in a restaurant, café, or bar setting - ideally within a hotel setting.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and evenings..
- Open driver’s licence (mandatory).
