We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, in the heart of Kakadu National Park.

Task & responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, efficient service to guests in all Food and Beverage venues of the hotel.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
  • Serve meals and beverages promptly to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including tables and service areas.
  • Follow hygienic food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Operate within RSA and licensing guidelines at all times.
  • Assist with the service at special functions and events.
  • Support team members to ensure smooth day-to-day service

Qualification & experience

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a restaurant, café, or bar setting - ideally within a hotel setting.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and evenings..
  • Open driver’s licence (mandatory).
