Are you an experienced TSPV - Infrastructure Architect ready to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale network systems? We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Architect to deliver complex infrastructure solutions and guide technical direction within a high-security government environment. This is a Canberra-based, full-time position for an initial 12-month contract with one extension of up to 12 months. Onsite attendance is mandatory. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the implementation and evolution of complex network infrastructure
• Lead network planning and guide engineering teams through upgrades and architecture transitions
• Maintain expert knowledge of Defence-standard hardware, software, and network security practices
• Engage with key stakeholders to align network solutions with strategic and operational objectives

Key Requirements:

• Deep expertise in network architecture, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and MPLS technologies
• Proven experience with Juniper, CISCO, or HP networking equipment and relevant certifications
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance is essential

Location: Canberra.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 12-month extension options.
 
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
