Task & responsibilities

• Reviewing loading documentation, inspecting goods' condition, and confirming delivery with signed proof
• Using lifting, tipping, or mechanical devices to load and unload cargo
• Positioning vehicles accurately for loading and unloading operations
• Securing goods properly to prevent shifting, loss, or damage in transit
• Assessing load weights to meet legal limits and ensure balanced distribution
• Adhering to safety protocols during loading and unloading procedures
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification & minimum 1 year of experience as a truck driver in a similar role.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle driving license.
• A clean driving record and strong knowledge of road transport laws.
• Ability to use GPS devices and read delivery documentation accurately.
• Good time management and communication skills.
