Trainer Assessor

This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday), based in the office at Eight Mile Plains with limited interstate and intrastate travel. 

Working across all entities in the Vertaview Group, you’ll directly influence capability and workforce excellence. 

About the role:

As our Trainer Assessor, you will:

• Prepare, deliver, and assess training to ensure our disability support workers execute the inherent requirements of their role with confidence. 
• Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver contemporary learning outcomes that are responsive to our customer needs
• Develop training plans & instructional frameworks using adult learning principles
• Engage learners through interactive training, catering to different learning styles (visual, kinaesthetic, auditory)

You’re passionate about education and workforce excellence. You want to directly impact the capability of frontline professionals, be part of an experienced and professional team that drives real change, and have fun while you’re doing it.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Certificate III in Individual Support (highly desirable)
• Clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills as well as ability to use emotional intelligence to influence outcomes
• Experience in instructional design and developing training plans, using adult learning principles
• Background in the aged or disability care sector (an advantage)
