About the role

Deck King Restoration Services is seeking a skilled Timber Decking Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Bella Vista, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the restoration and rejuvenation of timber decking and outdoor structures. As an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional decking services, you will use your expertise to transform weathered and damaged timber into beautiful, like-new surfaces.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare timber surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and treatments to ready them for refinishing

• Apply high-quality stains, sealants, and protective coatings to restore the timber's natural beauty and protect it from the elements

• Carry out minor repairs to damaged or rotting timber components

• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients throughout the restoration process

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations

What we're looking for

• While prior experience in timber maintenance is advantageous but not essential , a solid work ethic and willingness to learn are essential..

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites
