Test Lead:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:-

• Conducting field testing activities for various mobile handset devices such as phones, watches, and tablets across three major carriers in Australia - Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.

• Performing Throughput testing on upcoming unreleased products and comparing the results with in-market models or other OEM models such as Samsung and Apple phones.

• Conducting functional and performance tests regarding modem modules on phones.

• Bug raising on internal portals and follow-up the investigation processes with required logs such as modem logs, bug report, android logs.

• Report generating for various tests conducted using internal tools such as Google spreadsheets, docs, gNotebooks.

• Visiting field locations to conduct various 5G and 4G test cases.

• Inter-state travelling to conduct newly implemented feature testing by carriers.

• Performing emergency call testing according to Australian government guidelines.

• Conducting carrier lab testing to verify modem features such as visiting Telstra Lab and verifying various modem features.

• Conducting internal lab testing in Google office to verify various emergency call scenarios and data performances.

Education Qualification & Experience:-

• Extensive knowledge of Mobile Field Testing and project management (i.e. 5G/4G networks and VoLTE/VoWiFi/EPSFB under both Stationary and Mobility methods).

• Highly expert knowledge in 5G network features such as -mmW/NSA/SA(Standalone), VoNR and Network Slicing.

• Experienced in Australia Emergency Call(000) testing procedures.

• Expert in Device Modem/Telephony log analysis for both Qualcomm and Samsung’s Exynos chipset models.
