The Role

We're looking for hands-on and mechanically minded Technicians to join our Advanced Engineering Centre at our Derrimut site. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to work with advanced machinery including CNCs, laser cutters, welding robots and presses contributing to the design, development and production of components for our industry-leading trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a range of machinery based on material specs and job requirements.

• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output.

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimise downtime.

• Safely handle materials using cranes or forklifts as required.

• Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.

• Accurately record machine performance and maintenance activities.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes.

• Follow all WHS policies, procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture.

Key Selection Criteria

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering, Mechanical Trade or related field (preferred).

• Experience operating CNCs, laser cutters or robotic welders (highly regarded).

• Background in metal or steel fabrication in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

• Commitment to safety and compliance with WHS regulations.
