Franklyn Blinds, Awnings and Security is a Brisbane owned and based window furnishings manufacturer. Since opening in 1987, we have continued to innovate and improve our products so we can offer our clients, Brisbane’s biggest range of Blinds, Shutters, Awnings and Security
Screens. We take pride in the fact that we are a market leader in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Oversee and optimise assembly production workflows

·         Quality control

·         Stock management

·         Lead, mentor, train, and support a team of assembly technicians

·         Undertake hands-on assembly to set the standard of excellence

·         Assisting in various tasks needed within the manufacturing environment

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude

• Punctual and reliable

• Basic oral and written communication skills (read and follow procedures)

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Car and Licence

• Able to work a 38-hour week, overtime when required

• Experience in Blinds, Curtains, Awnings or Security Screens industry highly desirable.

• Australia (Preferred)

• Must be able to work a 38-hour week, no student, holiday or working visa applications accepted

Salary: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift day shift

• Overtime
