The Role - A Day in the Life of a Team Leader

As a Team Leader within our Career Transition Assistance/JobLab contract you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating a variety of training programs. Your mission is to support participants in achieving their training and employment goals. Additionally, you will oversee and lead a dedicated team of CTA/JobLab trainers across the operations region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training and consistent support for all participants.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and lead a team of CTA/JobLab training advisors across the operational regions, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure training sessions are effectively planned, scheduled, and executed to meet participants' needs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations whilst maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Market and promote the CTA program among Workforce Australia providers and other stakeholders and build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance program visibility and participation.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance participant engagement, success whilst monitoring participant progress and provide additional support as needed ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality training programs.

Criteria for Success

• Experience within the Workforce Australia Contracts
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and delivery techniques relevant to mature customers
• Ability to provide effective advisory, coaching and/or mentoring support
• Sound time management skills and the ability to lead a small team to achieve results
• Current Driver’s Licence
• A recent, clear National Police Check
• A current NSW Working With Children Check
