Flender is looking for an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager. This role is located in Seven Hills, NSW.
The tasks, including but not limited to are:
Managing the Order Management/Purchasing activities for the whole business in Australia
Determining, implementing, and monitoring purchasing, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans
Preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
Budgeting, analyzing, and forecasting
Managing the WIP
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
Contract clarifications for Commercial Terms ensuring that projects are commercially compliant with minimum risk to the business
Monitoring and reviewing inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions
Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
Skills required:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management) is preferable
Hands-on experience in managing a national purchasing team, as well as in order/project management and warehouse
SCM knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
SAP extensive knowledge and hands-on experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
A positive 'can-do' attitude
Sound time management skills
Approachability in dealing with internal and external parties
