Storeman for Civil

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Storeman to join our civil construction team at our Smithfield, NSW location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our equipment and material inventory to ensure the efficient running of our construction projects. Transporting machines with our trucks from job sites

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and recording the condition of incoming materials and equipment

• Organising and maintaining the storage area to keep it well-organised and easily accessible

• Picking, packing, and dispatching materials and equipment to construction sites as needed

• Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored

• Assisting with the management of subcontractor deliveries and coordinating with project managers

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience as a Storeman or in a similar materials handling role, can operate excavators, can drive trucks with HR license preferably within the civil construction or manufacturing industry

• Strong organisational and inventory management skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with construction teams

• Forklift experience in operating materials handling equipment

• Understanding of construction materials and equipment

• Commitment to workplace health and safety
