Store Manager

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our Balcatta Store in a Permanent Full Time position.

As the Store Manager you will be:

• Responsible for ensuring the Balcatta store operates safely and effectively at all times

• Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.

• Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.

• You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods

• Using Pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling

• Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.

In order to be considered you will have:

• A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similar

• Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations

• Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement

• An Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines

• Strong skills in people management and customer engagement

• This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint

We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs.
