We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced IRO Accredited Solicitor to be part of our legal team within our Workers Compensation Division. You will be a driving force within our well-established and long serving law firm, assisting, and representing a multitude of clients who have experienced a workplace injury.

The Role
As a fulltime, Solicitor based in our Liverpool, Sydney Office, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and continuing impact for our clients.

Your Responsibilities:
Management of a file load, by providing clients with the proper legal advice, support, and representation in relation to their workers compensation and work injury damages claims.
Working on highly sensitive matters with a highly diverse and unique client base.
Drafting and preparing all legal documents, with accuracy and detail.
Reviewing all important aspects of client files for technical accuracy and completeness.
Liaising and consulting with all relevant parties involved in successfully running a matter including but not limited to; Counsel, Solicitors, medico legals and insurers.
Attending and representing at all related Conferences and Hearings.
You will ensure you maintain strong and well managed relations with all stakeholders.
Provide feedback on the status and progress of matters to the Principal and Senior Associate of the Division.
Overseeing the activities of the administrative staff including, junior Solicitors, Law Clerks, Paralegals, and administrative assistants.
Providing direction, technical assistance, and mentoring to junior Solicitors, Law Clerks, Paralegals, and Administrative Assistants.
About You:
You will have up to 2+ years professional experience as a minimum within a similar role.
A current NSW Practising Certificate.
Must be IRO Accredited
A thirst for challenging matters and a strong desire to achieve the best possible outcomes clients.
A high-level of emotional awareness and the empathy to deal with people who are experiencing difficult times.
A strong eye for detail in all your document management and correspondence.
Outstanding client service skills and responsiveness.
A positive attitude with an ability to influence, mentor and coach the junior members of the team.
Motivated to achieve financial targets for the firm.
You must also be an excellent communicator both written and verbal.
