Smart Water Meter Technician

If your sick of standing around on site counting down the hours till knock off and want more money out of your time? Then this is the role for you! NO digging, NO crawling under houses, NO builders hassling you. Just good, clean, honest work.

We are calling all licensed and unlicensed Plumbers, Trade assistants, Labourers and General Tradies who are willing and keen to assist us on the Smart Water Meter Replacement Program for Sydney Water.

This is a subcontractor role where you will be getting paid per meter exchange meaning the more productive you are, then the more money in your pockets.

Your day to day will entail walking from property to property replacing existing water meters to new smart water meters. You will be provided all necessary training and support to ensure your success in your new role.

UEC has exciting long-term opportunities working across the Sydney Water network as part of a 5+ year program to upgrade water meters in Western & Northern Sydney, Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire.


ABOUT YOU

• Have your own company set up, PTY LTD plus insurances (We can assist you in this)

• Police Check

• Personal vehicle required, specifically a Ute or van

• Basic tools of trade

• General hands on experience (Plumbing skills will assist you but not required)

• Enjoys working on the tools and in an outside environment

• Hold a current valid driver's licence

• Focus on safety and adherence to company policies and procedures

• Enjoy working independently

• Enjoys being productive

• Good level of fitness and physical ability
