Site Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and well-resourced civil contractor that continues to raise the bar in the delivery of bulk earthworks, roadworks, demolition, bridge construction, water & sewer infrastructure, and large-scale design & construct projects.
About the Role: As a Site Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of project delivery — assisting in the coordination and execution of various civil works from start to finish. You’ll work closely with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Site Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role provides an ideal platform for those with 1–5 years' experience who are passionate about growing their technical capability in a high-performing, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Support daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered to required specifications and in line with project plans.
- Assist in the development and review of construction programs, quality assurance documentation, and safety systems.
- Provide engineering support to site teams including interpretation of drawings, setting out, and progress reporting.
- Manage subcontractor activities, coordinate deliveries, and maintain daily records.
- Conduct inspections, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Contribute to cost tracking, claims preparation, and reporting as required.
- Engage with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to maintain strong lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For: - Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- 1–5 years’ experience in a site-based role within the civil construction industry.
- Familiarity with bulk earthworks, road construction, water/sewer infrastructure, or similar works.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive attitude, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Valid Australian working rights and driver’s licence.
