Service Manager - Harley Heaven

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our team at Harley-Heaven Pty Ltd in West Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for leading and managing our service department, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and technical expertise.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and staff management
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the service team, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and ensure a positive service experience
• Manage parts inventory and ordering to minimise downtime
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry, preferably within the motorcycle or powersports sector
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in motorcycle maintenance and repair
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both customers and the service team
• Proven experience in team management, including staff supervision, performance management, and training
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
