We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Technical Officer - Electrical & Instrumentation to join us in our Operations & Maintenance based in Brooklyn or Dandenong, VIC on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Regional Manager Central, you will play a key role in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting work area and plant for hazards, damage, and defects.
  • Examining drawings or specifications to determine work methods, sequence of activities, or manufacture of components.
  • Following procedures and instructions on preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing Faults or Breakdowns and undertaking repairs or component changeouts as required
  • Being a part of an On-Call roster
  • Willingness to travel/drive to various sites/locations in both regional and metropolitan.

Your background

Essential:

  • Licenced "A" grade Electrician
  • Victorian drivers licence

Desirable

  • Instrumentation and control certificate IV.
  • Electrical equipment in Hazardous Area qualification/experience
  • Gas turbine experience/Type B Gas Appliance Licence
