The Position
Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their multi-discipline projects team. You will be responsible for the delivery of structural systems in new buildings, and refurbishments across their client markets.
Role Accountabilities:
- Deliver engineering designs and consultancy services to clients across the built environment sector.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Drive business development, bid preparation and submittals as required.
- Performing a lead engineer or design management role on projects.
- Mentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior engineers
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, team-orientated individual, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or similar.
- Demonstrated experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering environment including construction phase inspections.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, team members, clients, consultants and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
- Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of large structures incorporating RC/PT concrete, steel and mass timber.
