The CompanyOur client is a primary player in the energy industry. As a result of ongoing business growth, they are looking for an experienced individuals to join their business to work on their latest major project.
The Role
Reporting to Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems that support an organization's operations.
Responsibilities
From a technical perspective you will;
- Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure solutions to support business continuity and performance goals.
- Oversee and maintain enterprise systems to ensure secure, stable, and efficient operations.
- Lead infrastructure enhancements, system upgrades, and integration efforts, particularly in post-acquisition environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues while collaborating across technical teams.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, these are the required skills:
- Security Management: Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, including endpoint protection and threat detection using tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Automation & Scripting: Skilled in automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Device & Endpoint Management: Proficient in managing mobile and desktop environments using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and SCCM.
- Operating Systems: Experience with both Windows 11 and macOS in enterprise settings.
- Network Administration: Strong grasp of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS for managing virtualized environments.
- Virtualization Technologies: Practical knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix for deploying and managing virtual systems.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to assess technical challenges, develop solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
