The Role:As a Senior Residential Draftsperson at GemLife, you will be responsible for drafting/creating innovative floor plans and facades while maintaining and updating ArchiCAD standard templates for residential home designs. Collaborating with team members, departments, and consultants, you will refine design concepts and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, within timeframes, you are an individual who "needs" to see a task completed to time and with creative flair and quality. In addition to production designs, you'll also work on unique, one-off designs for special projects and challenging blocks that require custom solutions.Essential Skills and Experience: To succeed in this role, you should have:Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) drafting using ArchiCAD or something similar on a PC platform.Experienced in taking concept drawings to full construction detailed drawingsExcellent drafting skills with attention to detailCompetence in design development, construction documentation, and detailingKnowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and Local Government regulationsMinimum 3 years of residential construction experience with a volume home builderThe motivation to see jobs through to completion within the project timelines at all costs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong problem-solving abilities and quality control skillsOrganizational skills, including time management and prioritisation.Approachable personality with excellent communication skills
