About us
Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals are leading providers operating theatre services, designed to provide the best possible environment for patients and their surgeons. Our hospitals are highly automated with specialised surgical lighting and remote camera systems. The Credentialling of Visiting Medical Officers (VMO’s) is facilitated with a software system- Cgov. Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals form a network of day hospitals across the east coast of Australia extending into NSW, Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania.
The Role
The Credentialling & Scheduling Coordinator is a senior administration officer position, and we respect and value the need for experienced customer service focussed individuals working hand in hand with our highly skilled medical team and Visiting Medical Officers. The role would suit someone who has experience in a broad range of administrative and hospital reception procedures, who is compassionate and sensitive to the needs of our patients undergoing fertility treatments. We believe your strong customer service skills will contribute significantly to the provision of the world class care we deliver.
Responsibilities
Processing of credentialling applications of the Visiting Medical Officers and IVF Specialists across the Virtus Day Hospital Network.
Maintain all current Medical Practitioner files within the credentialling system
Supporting the Day Hospital via scheduling of the IVF theatres
Develop and maintain positive VMO customer relationships by ensuring the IVF Surgical Patient scheduling is streamlined, efficient and transparent.
Develop a full working knowledge of all activities and tasks performed within the day-to day administrative function, such that backup support can be provided as required.
The successful candidate will have
Strong references of high-quality service - an energetic, passionate can-do approach is paramount, with experience managing credentialling or similar systems, held favourably.
Proven track record for procedural accuracy and attention to detail
Empathetic understanding and ability to provide the utmost respect and support for all patients and Visiting Medical Officers.
A high level of computer literacy - oral and written communication skills
