The Role

Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities by engaging with both qualified and unqualified leads, while also providing support to the Manpower Group Sales Team. The position involves generating initial client interest, conducting outreach to potential clients in need of recruitment services and talent solutions, and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers. You will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying leads, then passing them on to the senior sales team or subject matter experts for finalisation and deal closure.

Your daily tasks include:

  • Initiate outreach to prospective leads through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to understand their recruitment and staffing needs.
  • Engage in initial conversations with clients to assess their requirements, gather pertinent information, and qualify leads for further follow-up by senior sales representatives or subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries, helping to develop a targeted prospect list for outreach campaigns.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for senior sales team members or SMEs to further discuss client requirements and explore potential partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior sales staff and SMEs to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads and assist with follow-up actions as needed.
  • Follow up on initial outreach efforts to maintain prospect engagement and ensure they remain actively involved in the sales pipeline.
  • Work in tandem with Sales, Marketing, and SMEs to formulate strategies and ensure a unified approach to sales and business development.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, track progress through the sales pipeline, and perform follow-up actions to move prospects toward conversion.
  • Manage sales campaigns, such as reconnecting with lapsed clients or executing targeted marketing initiatives to promote specific solutions.
  • Participate in client presentations, bid processes, and other sales activities to support business development efforts.
  • Assist in bid writing, submission, and the compilation of relevant data and documents for the self-service portal and client obsession list, including current suppliers, previous bid outcomes, dates, and projected timelines for market re-entry.

Your Background

In order to be considered for this amazing opportunity you should have:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or recruitment-related sales.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage clients and introduce services confidently
  • Strong team orientation and excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence and create impact at senior management level
  • Convincing negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate
  • records
  • Goal-oriented and driven, with a passion for achieving sales targets and contributing to
  • business growth
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience within the Recruitment industry or similar industry essential
