JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our commercial efforts in grid connection and power quality solutions across the Australian market. In this role, you will identify and drive new business opportunities, build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and support the expansion of our solutions within the energy sector. You will work autonomously in Australia, with remote support from the global team and report directly to the Global Sales Director. This is a high-impact role suited for a self-driven professional with deep technical and commercial knowledge of grid connection requirements in Australia.

Task & responsibilities

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage customer relationships across existing sales channels (agents, distributors) and open new ones as required.
  • Provide market intelligence to support regional leaders from other business lines.
  • Lead sales for transformers and energy quality solutions, including energy quality studies.
  • Ensure the continuity and execution of marketing and sales plans, with a focus on primary equipment for utilities and renewable projects.
  • Understand market-specific needs and propose tailored solutions or identify needs for new developments.
  • Conduct market prospecting, prepare commercial offers, and finalise sales.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with market demand.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve revenue targets through proactive sales strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and support.
  • Provide detailed reporting on sales performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Adhere to internal policies, compliance requirements, and corporate governance standards.

Qualification & experience

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar position within the energy sector.
  • Strong focus on sales of primary equipment and knowledge of grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects.
  • High level of proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with IT tools including SAP, MONDAY, REDMINE.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage complex accounts.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
