Sales and Marketing Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales and Marketing Consultant to join our dynamic team at Studio Pilates Clayfield. As a part-time Sales and Marketing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales at our studio located in Clayfield, QLD.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers to the studio in a friendly and professional manner

• Assisting customers with membership enquiries, class bookings and purchases

• Providing information about our studio, classes and membership options

• Processing sales transactions and handling cash and electronic payments

• Manage the studio’s social media strategy

• Drive sales and client engagement in all Studio events and promotions

• Supporting the studio manager with other administrative duties as needed

• Track class numbers throughout each day and invite clients into any free spots as they open up 

• Check the studio phone, inbox and studio ‘messenger’ application for any voicemails, SMS, and missed calls and action them via a return phone call

• Respond to all client communications in a timely and satisfactory manner

• Prepare and implement weekly Lead Generation strategies in the local community

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales-focused role, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle customer inquiries and concerns

• Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale equipment

• A passion for Pilates

• Flexible availability to work during our studio's opening hours, including evenings and weekends

• Have the ability to effectively influence through connection, passion and charisma to turn a lead into a sale 

• Be enthusiastic, outgoing and have a love for connecting with new people 

• Be pro-active and an exceptional team player
