About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our dynamic team on a permanent full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence key decisions by using data-driven insights to support the sales strategy and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze past sales data to identify productivity trends and inform sales strategy
  • Assist in developing pricing models and sales performance tracking reports
  • Collaborate with marketing and production teams to address product shortages and coordinate promotional activities
  • Ensure marketing materials meet compliance standards under the Victorian Energy Upgrades Program and ACMA guidelines
  • Lead and support projects to address process gaps and improve efficiency
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and customer retention strategies using product and account analysis
  • Prepare and distribute weekly sales dashboards via Google Sheets and CRM
  • Forecast sales trends and create targeted monthly sales plans
  • Support sales team with real-time data insights and pipeline management
  • Handle customer feedback and escalate issues where necessary
  • Present creative and actionable sales analysis reports to management

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field (required)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar data-focused sales role
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
  • Strong understanding of sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline analysis
  • Knowledge of marketing compliance standards such as the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Program and ACMA marketing guidelines
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, production, and sales teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Project management experience and ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution (desirable)
  • Familiarity with energy sector operations or government rebate programs (desirable)
