Joining GMP Mobile means you will be managing the day-to-day activities of a retail store. You would also be responsible for customer satisfaction, processing transactions, and managing store budgets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly and professionally to any questions, complaints, or concerns to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
- Interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing, and promoting staff, and resolving staff complaints.
- Examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action.
- Create and manage weekly work schedules to ensure adequate floor coverage during peak periods.
- Manage stock levels to ensure that popular products are consistently available, while monitoring stock rotation to prevent wastage.
- Assist the Owner in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed.
- Examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action.
- Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties.
- Assist the sales manager with opening and closing procedures as well as other retail activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate II or III in Retail Management or related qualification is required.
- Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor or Customer Service may be considered.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to work under pressure.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle customer issues and operational challenges.
- Familiarity with Point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and other retail technologies.
- Ability to provide customer satisfaction and exceptional service.
- Passion for sales, meeting or exceeding store targets.
WORKING HOURS
- Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
