Task & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day retail operations
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Monitor sales performance and generate sales reports
- Oversee inventory management
- Monitor and manage the store's budget
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Train and supervise retail staff
- Schedule shifts and manage payroll
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Qualification & experience
- Minimum one year of work experience as a retail manager or in a similar role
- Holding a diploma qualification in the related discipline or higher
- Maintaining an up-to-date trade knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
