Retail Manager

As the Retail Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the daily operations of the BP Calder Outbound service station. You’ll oversee staff, inventory, merchandising, and customer engagement while ensuring the store meets its financial and service goals. Task & responsibilities

• Manage and lead a diverse retail team across various shifts
• Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, merchandising, and product presentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food handling, and BP operational policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively
• Manage rosters, training, performance reviews, and team motivation
• Monitor and report on sales targets, budgets, and profitability
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards across the service station
• Liaise with suppliers and service contractors for timely deliveries and maintenance

Qualification & experience

• Proven retail management experience (preferably in the fuel, convenience, or QSR sector) At least 12 months prior experience.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Financial literacy with the ability to manage budgets and inventory.
• Knowledge of POS systems, staff scheduling, and compliance requirements.
• Experience handling high-pressure, multi-tasking environments.
• Master's in business or management, or a related field (preferred).
