About the Role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused performance in line with company standards.
  • Lead, train, and support retail staff in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence across premium skincare and dermaceutical brands.
  • Monitor visual merchandising and store presentation, ensuring all displays, signage, and promotional materials are aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Manage stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Track and analyze sales data, customer trends, and inventory movements to optimize product offerings and meet monthly targets.
  • Liaise with marketing and operations teams to implement in-store promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Smart Skin Australia’s product portfolio to provide tailored skincare advice and support to customers.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring high satisfaction and brand loyalty.
  • Prepare sales reports, staff rosters, and performance updates, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies, company procedures, and industry regulations while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment.

The job will be full-time, with hours worked between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. 

Successful applicants would have:

  • Relevant qualifications in retail, business, beauty therapy, or a related field (e.g., Certificate IV in Retail Management or Diploma of Beauty Therapy).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally within skincare, cosmetics, or luxury goods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing inventory, merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth through strategic planning and staff development.
  • Solid understanding of dermaceutical and cosmeceutical skincare products and a passion for wellness and beauty.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate reports and manage stock.
  • Professional, well-groomed presentation and a polished manner that aligns with Smart Skin Australia's premium brand image.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during promotional events as required.
  • A valid Australian driver licence is desirable for occasional travel between store and warehouse locations.
