Task & responsibilities

·  Overseeing Retail Operations: Manage daily store functions, ensuring smooth business activities and operational efficiency.

·  Stock & Product Management: Determine optimal inventory levels, product selection, and service standards to enhance customer satisfaction.

·  Strategic Planning: Develop and implement purchasing, pricing, and marketing policies to drive profitability and growth.

·  Sales & Customer Interaction: Guide customers in selecting products and services while providing expert advice on their usage.

·  Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and budget allocations for financial accountability.

·   Staff Supervision & Training: Lead the hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation of team members to cultivate a productive workforce.

·  Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for employees and customers.

·  Policy Development: Establish and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance business effectiveness.

·  Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales figures and financial reports to track progress and implement improvements.

·   Supplier Relations & Negotiation: Build strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to optimize cost efficiency.

·   Marketing & Promotions: Plan and execute advertising campaigns and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.


Qualification & experience

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, ensuring efficient interactions and resolution of challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives effectively.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating industry knowledge and hands-on expertise.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with a determined "can-do" attitude to tackle tasks with enthusiasm and efficiency.
