About the opportunityThe only Australian hotel to make Time magazine’s 2025 World’s Greatest Places list, The Lodge Wadjemup on Rottnest Island Western Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hotel Reservations | Revenue Manager to join our dynamic management team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maximising room revenue by driving an effective reservations and revenue management strategy. Based at our Fremantle office, of course there'll be trips to this stunning A-class reserve when needed!
What you'll be doingManage the hotel's reservation system and processes to optimise occupancy and revenueAnalyse booking trends and market intelligence to develop and implement effective pricing and inventory strategiesWork closely with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities and support promotional activitiesAdjust room rates in real time to maximise revenue, considering factors like seasonality, special events, and occupancy levelsMonitor key performance indicators and provide insightful reports to the management teamSecure new business, ensuring guest satisfactionGroups quotes with our Functions and Sales teamTaking reservations via email | telephone
What we're looking forMinimum 2 years' experience in a reservations or revenue management role within the hospitality industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using hotel reservations and revenue management softwareA passion for the hospitality industry and providing exceptional customer serviceA tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business or a related discipline is preferred
