About the opportunity
The School of Psychology are currently seeking two (2) experienced Research Assistants (Psychology) to provide technical and operational support to the Chief Investigators and the team to support the research projects investigating cognitive changes in frontotemporal dementia and associated disorders, as well as other brain conditions.
Working closely with Prof.Olivier Piguet and Assoc. Prof. Fiona Kumfor, the successful incumbents will provide technical and operational support to the Chief Investigators and the team of FRONTIER, the frontotemporal dementia clinical research group, to support research projects investigating frontotemporal dementia and associated disorders, as well as other brain conditions.
This position involves coordinating multidisciplinary research assessments, carrying out cognitive testing of study participants, participating in relevant meetings and contributing to administrative work, and supporting research work in the area. The role may also require home visits at times.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
