About You:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor of Nursing (BN) essential
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable).
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs.
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
  • Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
  • Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
  • To be successful in this role you must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
