Looking for your next step in legal admin? We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane team, working at our stylish offices on Queen Street.
Your new role
- You will be an integral part of the team - supporting lawyers, providing exceptional client service and administrative excellence. Your work will include:
- Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate person
- Take accurate messages when necessary
- Collaborate with team members across different departments
- Manage daily mail and coordinate couriers
- Maintain inventory levels of stationery, office supplies, and kitchen items
- Set up client spaces and meeting rooms
- Coordinate internal and external meetings
- Assist with travel arrangements for staff members
- Manage files including setting up new files, conducting conflict checks, and performing due diligence procedures
- Prepare invoices for end-of-month billing
Your skills and experience
- Customer service and/or some administrative experience is essential
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or in the Legal profession highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft365 software
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Adaptability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative and autonomy while also taking a collaborative approach
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
- Great interpersonal skills
