We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Support Officer to join our team in Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. If you are seeking a fresh opportunity with Australia’s largest mussel producer, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, this hands-on role supports our Mussel Processing team across both factory and administrative tasks. We’re looking for a proactive team player who’s eager to learn and get involved in all areas of the operation.
You’ll be someone who works well independently and as part of a team, shows initiative and takes pride in maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential to help ensure the smooth running of factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the Factory Manager to ensure smooth and efficient production operations
Assisting with quality control and production processes in line with our quality standards
Working with production staff to resolve quality issues as they arise
Providing administrative support including data entry and assistance with internal audits
Maintaining accurate records of work activities, quality checks and inventory
Supporting the implementation and upkeep of quality assurance documentation
While previous experience in food safety, quality control or processing is advantageous, it’s not essential – full training will be provided.
You will also need:
A current Driver’s Licence
Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)
Sound verbal and written communication skills
This position is initially offered as a casual contract position of 3 to 4 days (15-25 hours per week).
