Dove Automotive is on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our expanding team. Based locally, this is your chance to work with an established and rapidly growing organisation that values quality workmanship and team culture.

In this role, you’ll carry out a variety of engine and mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with product warranty guidelines, company policies, and direction from the Service Manager.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Technician/Mechanic, you will:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems

• Conduct servicing and warranty repairs in line with company policies and manufacturer guidelines

• Test drive and perform final quality checks before returning vehicles to customers

• Provide expert advice on vehicle condition and required repairs

• Accurately report work performed and maintain records in internal systems

• Order necessary parts for warranty and repair work

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealer product range and mechanical advancements

What We’re Looking For

• Full Qualifications as a Technician/Mechanic

• Significant industry experience

• Strong diagnostic skills with a well-developed knowledge of the automotive industry

• Roadworthy experience - roadworthy license is highly advantageous

• Ability to provide training to technicians and apprentices

• Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment, and are highly motivated

• Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task where required, punctual and reliable

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role 

• Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic 

• Availability to work some Saturdays
