An exciting opportunity to be part of our growing Physiotherapy, Pilates and Exercise clinics. With an expanding clinic in Mosman and our purpose built Balgowlah clinic, we're looking for an Allied Health experienced part-time receptionist to work in Mosman and/or Balgowlah.

The Job

The successful applicant will work closely with our Physiotherapists to provide a high level of support within the team and exceptional service to our patients.

We run a busy, progressive and growing practice so you can be assured that no day is ever the same! This is a challenging position best suited to someone who is extremely efficient and capable of multi-tasking without getting flustered and will evolve with the role. 

You will report directly to the practice manager and director as part of our 12-person admin team, supporting over 30 therapists. 

As an integral member of our team, reliability and punctuality is paramount. 

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a strong administrative focus which will be task driven. You will be also be responsible for reception duties and will be required to deliver outstanding customer service to patients throughout your day. 

  • Welcoming patients into the practice and creating a world class customer service standard

  • Dealing with all enquiries in a friendly and informative fashion

  • General reception duties including answering of calls, entering patient details and taking payments.

  • Day to day management of our therapist’s schedules and electronic diaries

  • Administration support to therapists and practice principals

  • Stock ordering and control

  • Liaising with third party payers

  • Banking duties including petty cash, daily reconciliation and depositing

  • Reporting to Practice Manager and Director

Essential and Desirable Skills
  • Friendly, energetic and positive demeanor

  • Previous customer service experience with exceptional service skills

  • Previous experience in office management an advantage or able to show strong organisational skills and the ability to learn

  • Well presented with excellent communication skills and phone manner

  • Proficient with technology in our paperless office

  • A can do attitude with high attention to detail

  • A good problem solver with the ability to identify areas for improvement, make suggestions and implement change

  • Self motivated with the ability to take ownership over all tasks

  • Demonstrated initiative, organisation and time-management

  • Previous knowledge of practice management software an advantage but not essential as training can be provided

We deliver contemporary sports, musculoskeletal, women’s health and exercise Physiotherapy to our fabulous local patients and look after several sporting teams within the area.

Hours:

Part-time: 2-3 shifts per week with the ability to cover other shifts when required.
