Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Project Officer, Entrepreneurship and Regional Innovation to join QUT Entrepreneurship, Education Portfolio, Academic Division. The Project Officer, Entrepreneurship and Regional Innovation is positioned within the Office of the PVC (Entrepreneurship and Regional Innovation) and provides high quality administration across a broad range of duties that support planning, communications, events, engagements and reporting. Confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement are essential attributes for this role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in an administrative role and the ability to work well within a team are also required. This position reports to the PVC (Entrepreneurship & Regional Innovation) for career planning, development, and performance expectations. What You Need To Succeed Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience.High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to provide confidential administrative support, and collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment with a focus on efficient and improved work practices.Demonstrated digital literacy skills including the ability to effectively work with the Microsoft suite of products as well as corporate systems and other information sources to extract, interpret and report data including financial data.Demonstrated ability to use initiative to solve problems, manage priorities to meet deadlines, and work productively with flexibility in response to changing priorities.Strong written communication skills including the ability to draft content such as reports, agendas and minutes, correspondence, submissions and emails with accuracy and attention to detail.
