Facilities & Campus Services (FCS) provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that supports the physical environments for students and staff, aiding their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. Our purpose is to provide fit-for-purpose and innovative planning and delivery services that contribute to the success of ECU as a vibrant and progressive University.
The Buildings and Services Team principally comprise of Projects, Planning, Maintenance and Campus services. The Buildings and Services team are responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of the University's facilities. This includes managing major and minor capital works, maintenance contracts, conducting condition audits, and providing technical support for various projects to meet the strategic goals and legislative requirements of the University.
The Role
This role is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and completion of projects in a professional manner, while ensuring the achievement of objectives and outcomes for Facilities and Campus Services and the University.
Skills & Experience
Postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience, or relevant tertiary qualification with extensive management experience and proven management expertise. Experience in planning, scheduling and managing timelines and milestones to ensure the smooth delivery of minor capital works and improvement projects. Experience in reporting on project progress and financial performance. Must have a sound knowledge of all aspects of project management including MS Project etc Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, particularly the Building Code of Australia, OSH and contracts such as AS2124, AS4000 etc Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong customer service skills Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work cooperatively with others Adaptability to changing environments

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, full time position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
