Production Operator

Mars Birdcare is seeking driven and motivated individuals to join their Production Team as Operators. You will be the heart of the company, ensuring our products are delivered to a high standard and meeting supplier demands. 

As a Mars Operator, you days will be filled with grainy goodness, you will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes and pieces of equipment to ensure all products are being delivered on time and to standard, this is your opportunity to join a global company that values the development of all employees. 

What are we looking for?

• Manufacturing or FMCG experience is desirable, but not essential.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Mechanical training or similar background - preferred but not essential.

• Have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.

• Willingness to learn & develop.

• Strong attention to detail.

What will be your key responsibilities? 

• Responsible for monitoring and running multiple pieces of equipment through the usage of software interface systems as well as physical checks.

• Communicate directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance repair in a productive manner.

• Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance related issues.

• Safely and continuously operate multiple pieces of equipment to produce quality products on time.

• Ensuring quality & safety procedures are followed and providing thorough handovers.
