You have a strong sense of urgency and are comfortable coordinating between the "in real life" filming and props department, aligning with the rest of the creative team to bring ideas to life. This role requires someone who is agile, versatile, and driven by a passion for creating engaging content that resonates with a global audience.

Not only are you a natural communicator who ensures the right information flows between teams, but you're also ready to jump in and support with props, sets and equipment set up, while keeping every part of the process on track.

The Role:
As our Production Assistant, you’ll be an essential link between creative vision and flawless execution. You will play a pivotal role in organizing and streamlining production activities, ensuring our content creation flows smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you will assist with props and equipment, support various teams, and keep everything on track to deliver outstanding work on time and on budget.

Your Responsibilities and Skills:

• Coordinate logistics for filming days, working closely with the props and set departments to ensure a smooth production process.
• Serve as the main point of contact for communication between the filming crew, prop department, and creative teams, keeping everyone aligned on project goals.
• Organize and track production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
• Ensure production environments are safe, organized, and efficient, and adhere to company policies and procedures, including WH&S.
• Assist with set preparation, prop setup, and basic equipment handling; be ready to jump in wherever needed on set.
• Maintain and organize inventory of props and production equipment, tracking usage and assisting with purchasing when needed.
• Support the creative and production team in brainstorming and planning sessions, taking meticulous notes and following up on action items.
• Help manage on-site logistics, including setup, takedown, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during shoots.
• Be an adaptable problem solver who can quickly shift priorities and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Experience in production assistance, ideally within a YouTube video creation, gaming, or social media environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between various teams and stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of video production, lighting, and sound equipment; familiarity with Sony, Black Magic, and Aputure equipment is a plus.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude with a willingness to get hands-on with props, sets, and equipment as needed.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects, managing tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• An agile, adaptable approach to work and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
• Melbourne-based and available to work on-site as needed.
