The Role
Rheem Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Engineering graduate who is looking to fast track their career in Manufacturing. Join our team and play a pivotal role in optimising manufacturing processes, embedding Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles, and driving innovation across our operations.
In this role, you'll partner with key stakeholders across Production, Quality, WHS, R&D, and Maintenance to design and implement advanced process solutions. Your leadership will empower cross-functional teams and mentor production personnel, helping to achieve strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Champion the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Lead cross-functional teams in process optimization, driving measurable improvements in KPIs.Design, standardize, and implement scalable process solutions across the business unit.Apply advanced engineering principles to refine production processes and optimize equipment layouts.Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to solve complex production, quality, and WHS challenges.Ensure compliance with Australian and Rheem Engineering standards in process improvements.Build strong stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration and innovation.Provide data-driven insights and engineering solutions to support strategic decision-making.Mentor production team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Utilise Six Sigma and statistical analysis tools to deliver impactful project outcomes.
About You
Degree qualification in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Technology) or equivalent advanced vocational qualifications.HVAC or Manufacturing industry experience is favoured.Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED) and statistical process control.Advanced problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to lead end-to-end initiatives.High-level proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP would be a bonus.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
