Support the Manager, Service Agreement Management to manage the development and maintenance of service agreements and of associated projects and initiatives such as the performance framework and amendment processes. This fixed term temporary full-time opportunity is based in Brisbane CBD.

As the Principal Service Agreement Officer, you will support the Manager, Service Agreement Management to manage the development and maintenance of service agreements and of associated projects and initiatives such as the performance framework and amendment processes. 

What you'll do

You will undertake and coordinate preparatory work required to support the Director in the development and maintenance of service agreements which drive HHSs to deliver best value in terms of cost effectiveness, care quality and innovative approaches to the delivery of services. You will establish and maintain professional working relationships with HHS and Department of Health managers to understand critical issues in relation to the Service Agreements and facilitate appropriate responses and keep the Director, Service Agreement Management apprised of key issues and progress of the service agreements, performance management framework, and amendment processes. You will support the Manager – Service Agreement Management to manage the development and maintenance of service agreements and monitor and manage performance to ensure the services specified and funding provided are being delivered in accordance with the terms of the service agreement.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data
  • High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to:
    • Compile complex reports, briefs, correspondence and submissions
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of clients and stakeholders
    • Negotiate outcomes and effectively represent the interests of the Department
    • Cultivate productive working relationships, partnerships and teamwork
  • Advanced skills using software for data analysis, project management and consultation (e.g. MS-Excel, MS-Project and MS-Visio) and the ability to quickly develop skills in the use of other software programs if required.
  • Sound knowledge of strategic priorities and national/state performance requirements.
