Are you passionate about guiding teachers and creating developmentally appropriate, human-centered learning experiences? Samford Valley Steiner School (SVSS) is seeking a Primary School Teaching and Learning Coordinator to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the curriculum and supporting teachers in delivering a rich, creative Steiner/Waldorf education.

The Role

As the Teaching and Learning Coordinator, you will:

• Oversee the development and delivery of a creative, engaging Steiner curriculum for Primary School.

• Provide direct mentorship and professional development to teachers, ensuring alignment with Waldorf principles and encouraging growth.

• Support student well-being through the implementation of individualised learning plans and collaboration with the Learning Enrichment Team.

• Contribute to assessment, reporting, and documentation processes to ensure holistic student progress is captured meaningfully.

• Engage with the school community, building positive relationships with teachers, students, and parents.

The candidate must also hold:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.

• Teaching certification and registration, meeting the requirements of the Queensland College of Teachers.

• Familiarity with the Steiner educational philosophy and a passion for its principles.

• Prior experience teaching in a Steiner or Waldorf school
