Join us at our brand-new, fully air-conditioned automated distribution centre in Redbank, Queensland! You’ll be part of an innovative team of Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Equipment Operators, working to ensure the seamless performance of our state-of-the-art systems.
We are currently seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our Preventative Maintenance Team as Electro-Mechanical Technicians on a permanent, full-time basis. Enjoy a unique work schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights off.
About You:

Mechanical aptitude: You possess a strong mechanical aptitude, essential for success in this role.

Trade certification: You hold a trade certificate in Fitter and Turner or a related field.

Electrical License: An Unrestricted Electrical License is required for this role.

Passion for technology: You have a genuine interest in automation and technology with the eagerness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and procedures.

Physical requirements: You are comfortable meeting the physical demands of the job, which include:
- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Working at heights of up to 30 meters (with fall-arrest gear and other necessary PPE).
- Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25kg unassisted.
Your new role:
Working full-time night shifts as part of a cross-functional team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting operations by optimizing system performance, responding to faults, and upskilling operators. You’ll also actively seek out opportunities for continuous improvement. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative maintenance, monitoring, operation, fault correction, and housekeeping of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
- Troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues, and escalating complex problems as needed.
- Coaching and mentoring the production team to enhance their technical knowledge and operational skills.
- Ensuring the effective execution of all maintenance-related tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Investigating and resolving system material flow issues.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging your broad system knowledge and suggesting site-specific enhancements.
